Tahini Hemp Dressing Recipe

Not only is hemp good for making bio-diesel and fabric, it is also good to eat. Below is a recipe that was sent to me by the Hemp History Week campaign:

Yield: 8-12 servings

Ingredients:

1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
2 gloves garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon hemp oil
1/4 cup orange juice
dash of black pepper
1 teaspoon parsley, finely chopped (optional)

Preparation:

1. In a food processor combine garlic and tahini. Add sea salt and pepper.

2. Remove from food processor and add olive & hemp oil and orange juice. If too thick, add a teaspoon of warm water until desired consistency. Mix in parsley.

Recipes provided by campaign sponsors and Hemp History Week endorser Alexandra Jamieson.
