And now for the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 14oz. package of Lo Mein noodles

4 1/2 cups water

2 Green Bell Peppers

2 Garlic Cloves

1/3 cup Portobello Mushrooms

1/3 cup Carrots

1/3 cup Bean Sprouts

1/3 cup whole Sweet Peas

1/2 cup Green Onions

1/4 cup White Onion

2 tbsp Oyster Sauce

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

1/2 tsp Sesame oil

3 tbsp Canna-oil

3/4 Shrimp (Approx. 20 when using medium size shrimp)

6 drops of True Terpenes Strain Profile

*Keep in mind all these ingredients can be purchased pre-cut and packaged. This makes this dish an even quicker dinner option when in a crunch for time! *

Directions:

  1. Start by washing all your vegetables and cleaning the shrimp. Cut the onion, green onions, bell peppers, and carrots length wise into stir-fry bites. Crush and chop the garlic cloves, then cut the mushroom caps in quarters. Finish by de-shelling and removing the veins from the shrimp.
  2. Next, start boiling water in a large pot with pinch of salt. Have a strainer and your package of noodles on standby.
  3. Begin heating your wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add your Canna-oil and sesame oil to the pan.
  4. Once the oil has heated up add your garlic and cook until fragrant. This should take only about 1-2 minutes. Then add the bell peppers and carrots to the pan.
  5. Once your peppers and carrots have cooked to a snap like texture. Add your onions, mushrooms, peas, and bean sprouts to the pan. Stir and sauté all the ingredients together.
  6. After giving your vegetables a few stirs around the pot. Make a center in the pan by moving the vegetables to the edges of the pan. Add your shrimp to the center of the pan.
  7. Once your shrimp has cooked half way (about 2 minutes). Stir in your soy and oyster sauce. Bringing all the ingredients in the pan together. Then reduce heat to a low simmer.
  8. At this point your large pot of water should be boiling. Add your noodles and cook for 2 minutes (or as directed on the back of package)

Remember you want your noodles to be a little under cooked as they will finish in the stir-fry. Once cooked, drain and immediately rinse with cold water.

  1. Bringing your stir-fried vegetables and shrimp back up to high heat add your noodles. Toss and make sure all noodles are covered with the sauce of the pan. By this point your noodles should be perfectly cooked.
  2. Remove pan from heat and sprinkle in your green onions. It is at this point that you add your True Terpenes Strain Profile for a little more flare! Durban Poison can add peppery notes for example while Black Lime or Super Lemon Haze create nice citrus tones.
