Grammy Award winning musician, marriage-equality activist, and now cannabis advocate and businesswoman, Melissa Etheridge will be among 20 cannabis entrepreneurs pitching their businesses to more than 200 high net worth investors from around the world at the ArcView Investor Network Forum in Las Vegas on November 9th.
“Cannabis helped me so much when I was struggling with cancer and I really believe it deserves to be legal nationwide. That is why I’ve decided to team up with the best experts in the field to develop products to help legitimize this important industry. It’s an honor to pitch ArcView’s investor members because it’s a group of investors that is not only looking for returns, but also to make the world a more free and compassionate place,” explains Melissa Etheridge, the creator of cannabis infused Know Label Wine.
“Melissa Etheridge is a hero for stepping out and sharing her compelling story to help the cause of legalization. Now that she is building her own cannabis businesses she will be able to utilize the most powerful force for political change the world has ever known: business,” said Troy Dayton, CEO and co-founder of The ArcView Group.

About Melissa Etheridge
Melissa Etheridge made her mark first as a top selling singer/songwriter with the 1988 release of her eponymous double-platinum debut album. Her fourth album, “Yes I Am” went platinum six times and spent more than two and a half years on the charts. She’s been nominated fifteen times for a Grammy and took home two of them. She also won an Academy Award for her songwriting in Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. In 1998, Melissa was one of the first female celebrities to come out publicly as gay. This began a multi-decade effort as a key face in the battle for marriage equality. In 2004 she began her battle with cancer for which cannabis played a major healing role. Once again, she was public about her use and became a face of cannabis advocacy. In 2014, Melissa teamed up with Greenway Dispensary in Santa Cruz to create a line of cannabis-infused wine called Know Label Wine.
