At the beginning of January, we announced a winter fundraising goal of $50,000 by the end of February. Since then, supporters like you have contributed $45,780, which has allowed us to build unprecedented support in the legislature and the general public for cannabis law reform.
- Our media presence can be seen across the state in our billboards and radio ads, as well as the numerous news stories our work generates each and every week.
- We organized a lobby day with nearly 100 dedicated Missourians meeting with their legislators and changing the perception of this issue in the Capitol.
- We published a report showing how Missouri’s drug task forces operate without oversight or transparency and have filed lawsuits against three of them to hold them accountable to the law.
You can see the success of these tactics in the number of cannabis law reform bills being introduced and the way the issue now transcends party lines. We have started 2015 off in the best possible way, and I believe it will only continue to get better — so long as we have your sustained support.
