Pineapple Express Marijuana Strain Review And Pictures
Descendant of California’s Pineapple, this strain is so good it has a movie named after it. This superbud tastes of pineapple, pine, and cedar. It is a hard hitting Sativa with a very energetic high that has a subtle citrus overtone.

Buzz Type: Heavy head buzz, energetic, focus.
Buzz Length: Average to Above Average (1 to 1.5 Hours)
Summary:
* Interesting… I’ve been fortunate to “have” Pineapple Express before, but this has to be the “dankest” version of this strain I’ve ever had. I did not get that solid pineapple taste that “wowed” me with this strain when I was able to obtain it in the past. This has a very strong scent too. An open container will leave the area smelly with a strong lingering “dank” scent.
The buzz for me was mostly heavy head tingle with the tingle felt mostly right in the back of the eye area and tip of the nose. I had a feeling as if it felt as if there as a “haze” covering my eyes. Somewhat of a dry eye effect causing a bit red “itchiness.”
This version of Pineapple Express was mostly hit me in the cerebral region with the medication slightly felt through out the rest of my body. The heaviness provided a “harder” come down as usual with Sativa strains as a few times when coming off the buzz, I was very lethargic and sleepy.
This batch was not as tasty, but was more “stoney.” They key negative for me and ailments is consistently it just falls short on legs. It’s somewhat like a bell curve or roller coaster for me. I shoot up real fast, but staying up there is about 30-40 minutes max with a serious crashing come down. Thus, if this is my only Sativa strain on hand during the day, reloads would be much more as compared to other flower varieties such as Super Silver Haze and Green Crack.
Overall, Pineapple Express is not a bad strain, but not a really great strain. I’d consider it a benchmark strain and one worthy of having at least once since it was made so popular by pop culture. Then again, maybe it’s due to this strain’s reference so often in pop culture that I have such high expectations for it.” – ie420patient
