Growing marijuana is one of the most rewarding and fun things that a person can do. I grew marijuana for a long time prior to moving to some places that weren't conducive to my garden needs. There just nothing quite like waking up in the morning and checking on the plants, and checking on them after getting home from work or errands. They truly become part of your everyday life, which is something that I think every marijuana grower will be quick to agree with.
More and more people are growing marijuana everyday it seems like. I definitely know that's the case in Oregon, where recreational cultivation recently became legal. Almost everyone I know is looking to start a garden, or did already. Marijuana gardens require gear, and the longer you do it and more involved you get, it can potentially involve a lot of gear. Growing gear is not cheap, and often times finding a reliable and affordable garden supplier can be difficult if not impossible in some areas. Going online can be easier in a lot of ways, but it can also pose its own issues since you don't always know if the products you are ordering are actually what they are supposed to be.
A very reliable company that I have gone through in the past is Growers Supply, which is a division of FarmTek. They have everything you would ever need for a garden, no matter how big or small it is. I am in the process of starting my garden again now that I have recently moved into a suitable house, and I plan on picking up some stuff from Growers Supply. Their prices are the best around for a lot of things, and they only carry quality brands that veteran growers use all over the place. I hate going into a lot of garden supply stores out there, where they are super greedy, and/or always try to give you an epic lecture because you are not doing 'X' and should be doing 'Y' and on and on. I just want a bulb, I don't want to get the register guy's opinion on how to harvest the perfect crop.
Growers Supply is one of the exhibitors at the upcoming 2015 Fall Regional Cannabis Business Summit in New York, hosted by the National Cannabis Industry Association. The event is going to be held at the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel located at 481 8th Avenue New York, NY 10001. The event will take place from September 21-23 and will feature some of the leading cannabis industry experts around.
