This is the biggest election in the history of the marijuana movement. Oregon, Colorado, and Washington are voting on marijuana reform initiatives, more states are voting on medical marijuana, and local municipalities are voting on marijuana reform ordinances and referendums at the local level all over the nation. There has never been a more exciting time to be a marijuana activist – we all know it!

Something that we apparently don’t all know is that if you’re not registered to vote, you will not be helping anyone or anything except the opposition. How many times have you heard the phrase, ‘I cannot believe marijuana is still illegal. What’s it going to take to change things?’ Well, for starters, REGISTER TO VOTE! If you are not registered to vote yet, DO IT TODAY! What the mother F are you waiting for? Put your dab torch down and get registered! Below is an e-mail that I received from the always hardworking Stacia Cosner from Students for Sensible Drug Policy talking about this very issue:

Today is National Voter Registration Day, and Students for Sensible Drug Policy is partnering with hundreds of other organizations to register more people in a single day than ever before.  Our Rock The Vote registration tool makes it easier than ever, so register today!

Voter registration deadlines are fast approaching, so take a minute to register to vote today to make sure your voice can be heard in this historic election this November.
