Steve DeAngelo is the founder and Executive Director of Harborside Health Center, the world's largest medical cannabis dispensary. Steve also wears a lot of other hats, including being an activist on the front lines of cannabis reform for over four decades. Steve DeAngelo possesses a knowledge of the cannabis plant, the cannabis industry, and cannabis activism that I think is unmatched right now. No one in the cannabis world possesses the level of that combination that Steve does, which is easily proven by his track record.
Steve DeAngelo is releasing a book next week titled The Cannabis Manifesto: A New Paradigm for Wellness. It will be the most significant cannabis book since the release of The Emperor Wears No Clothes by the late great Jack Herer (one of Steve's close personal friends), and has the potential of becoming a 'New York Times Best Seller' which would be huge for the cannabis movement and would further push cannabis into the mainstream. In anticipation of the book's release, Steve DeAngelo has released a series of mini-documentaries.
The first video tells the previously untold story about Steve DeAngelo, from his first experience with cannabis in his youth, to putting on the DC Smoke-In, to fighting for medical cannabis legalization in D.C., to his move to California and the founding of Harborside and beyond. I learned a lot from that video, both about Steve and about the cannabis movement in general since he has been such a huge part of things for so long. You can read a review that I wrote about the video at this link here, and view the actual video at this link here.
The second video discusses the popular topic of consuming cannabis for wellness purposes, and the benefits that go along with it. There is no one more qualified to talk on that topic than Steve DeAngelo in my opinion. It's not a coincidence that he runs the largest medical cannabis dispensary on the planet - it's because he is the leading subject matter expert on the topic of cannabis and wellness. I don't think that people realize how often they are consuming cannabis for wellness purposes, and could definitely benefit from learning more about it. It will help them enjoy the cannabis plant more, and get more benefits from it. You can read a review that I wrote about the second video at this link here, and view the actual cannabis for wellness video at this link here.
The third and final video Steve DeAngelo made was released yesterday. It discussed the topic of the future of cannabis, which is something that my friends and I talk about constantly. The future of the cannabis industry and movement is bright, brighter than it has ever been in American history. In the third video Steve talks about what the future of cannabis products will look like, what the world will look like after cannabis prohibition ends, and what people can do to help that become a reality.
